Our work is grounded in a bio-psychosocial, whole-of-person perspective and is informed by evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy approaches that recognize the impact of past and present experiences, including how the nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection. We place a strong emphasis on mental health support, collaboration, empowerment, and client choice, while also considering the relational, social, environmental, and cultural factors that influence wellbeing, particularly in the context of neurodiversity support.

Therapy is tailored to each person’s unique circumstances, strengths, and goals, providing essential mental health support. We integrate approaches that foster an understanding of the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and nervous system states. This process helps build psychological flexibility, emotional awareness and regulation, self-compassion, resilience, and meaningful behaviour change. Our work is grounded in attachment, developmental, systemic, and psychodynamic understandings of human experience, alongside trauma-informed therapy that considers how past experiences shape current challenges. We also embrace neurodiversity support, incorporating polyvagal-informed perspectives on how the nervous system influences patterns of safety, threat, and connection. Additionally, we utilise mindfulness, values-based practice, strengths-focused approaches, and practical skill development.
